About me
 Hi! my name is Valter di Giacomo and i'am a professional tour guide. I
have an official licence of Rome after passing an examination in art history
and archelogy. When you tour Rome you should always ask the license to your
guide because this guaranteed you are in good hands. Many tour guides who are
not official are not even reliable because you dont know who they are. Many
times unfortunately it did happen people were cheated and stolen even inside
the hotels. To be an official tour guide guarantees you also because you know in
the license the name, surname and the birth place. So we are registered and only an
official tour guide can give tours. In fact, you could be fined and stopped by
police that will fine the guide too (over a thousand euro). I studied about 10
years before passing the examination, so like every licenced official tour guide
we have a optimal background to tour a town like Rome with 2754 year of history
behind. We are also trained by professor at the University of Rome and most of
us have a degree. You are in good hand with an official guide who will be secure
and knowledgeable.
